Antonia Barth was born in 2000 and grew up in the north-western countryside of Germany. She studied Geography and Philosophy in the University of Münster before moving into carpentry training. Today, she brings these disciplines together in a personal philosophy of making, advocating for a renewed understanding of craft as a way of being human.
A meditation on craftsmanship and the deep human need to become oneself through the things we create A Norwegian sled becomes our guide through the philosophical teachings of craftsmanship. Rooted in a true story, the making of this handmade companion reveals the depth of creation and invites us to see the world anew. This book traces a path back to our inner compass—toward the things we shape, the stories they carry, and the connections that bind us. It is a call to feel, to remember, and to rediscover who we are in this world.
